No Hitter For Verlander !!!!

I haven't seen fans at Comerica Park as excited as they were tonight since Maggs game winning homer against Oakland in the post season last year. The last time a Tiger pitcher threw a no hitter was before I was born. No hitters are very difficult to come by. I would say it's even harder than hitting for the cycle. Usually pitchers might get a little nervous on the mound in the 9th inning with a no hitter going but Verlander was in some type of zone tonight. He was humming balls in there and throwing some nasty breaking balls and had outstanding command. Way to go Justin. Way to go Tigers !
