On the Verge

You can't say enough about the way the Tiger's have been playing in these first 2 rounds. We are 1 win away from heading to the World Series for the first time since I was 3 months old. The whole team seems to be coming together and performing. Kenny Roger seems unhittable these days and no one really knows how to get Placido Polanco out. Add in a few homers from Monroe, Inge, or Granderson and boom we're one win away from a World Series. Jim Leyland sure knows how to get the most out of what he's dealt. So I'll be rooting for the Tiger's to sweep Oakland tonight and we'll have to wait and see who we might be playing for the first championship since 1984.

I read Jim Leylan's biography online, pretty interesting stuff.
